To the eye this Premier Cru is shiny and gold in colour. To the nose there is aromas of white fruits and lemon caviar. A delicate and balanced palate, it has a beautiful aromatic persistence.
The grape variety that makes up this wonderful champagne is 80% Chardonnay, 40% of this is aged in oak barrels for three years. 18%Pinot Noir and 2% Pinot Meunier. It sits for three years on lees and by the time it is ready it is seven years old! This champagne is so superbly made that once opened it can be left for two to three days and it will still be ok for consumption!
