Mendoza, Argentina - 14% abv

This Malbec shows a vibrant, deep purple-red hue. On the nose it delivers fresh red fruits - raspberry and plum - alongside floral violet notes, with touches of vanilla, liquorice, and spice from oak ageing. The palate is round and soft, with gentle yet present tannins, good structure, and smooth texture; richness of dark fruit balanced by a modest oak presence and gentle acidity, leading to a long, satisfying spicy finish.

Because of its juicy red and dark fruit profile, smooth tannins, and subtle spice, this wine pairs wonderfully with grilled or roasted red meats - think flank steak, rib-eye, or lamb chops. It also works well with dishes that have smoky or spicy elements: perhaps a chimichurri-marinated steak or smoked barbecue ribs. Also delicious alongside hearty vegetarian options like mushroom risotto, roasted portobello mushrooms, or richly spiced bean stews.
