As the second wine of Château Montrose, La Dame de Montrose is an excellent representation of Saint-Estèphe’s signature power and structure. The nose reveals ripe blackberries, cassis, and dark chocolate, with underlying earthy notes and a touch of graphite. On the palate, the tannins are firm but refined, supporting a long, structured finish.
This wine pairs exceptionally well with grilled ribeye steak, braised short ribs, or wild mushroom risotto. Hard cheeses such as aged Gouda or Comté also make a great match.
