Saffron Grange takes the emblem of a majestic woolly mammoth (lovingly referred to by the vineyard as 'Brut'). They use this logo in tribute to the fact that historians have uncovered mammoth tusks and teeth along the river Slade, which runs through their site. These prehistoric relics are now proudly displayed at the local museum.
 
This signature vintage wine is Saffron Grange's classic blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, and 15% Pinot Meunier, aged for a minimum of 24 months on its' yeast lees. This stunning English sparkling wine presents aromas of red fruits, buttery brioche, and almonds on the nose. This is perfectly balanced with juicy nectarine, baked apples, and flint minerality in the finish which is signature to the vineyard, owed to the chalk-filled soils of the terroir.
 
This food-friendly wine would be a perfect partner to smoked fish, roast chicken, or creamy risotto dishes.
